Dive Courses

 

Open Water Diver (OWD) - Learn to dive. Within 3-5 days you can obtain the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to dive around the worlds dive sites, to a maximum of 18m. The dive course is conducted according to the standards of worldwide recognized organizations. Teaching materials, dive equipment and boat fare are included as is of course an internationally recognized licence.

Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) - Within 2 days you can improve your dive skills and increase your certification level to 30m depth. As an "AOWD", you are less limited on the variety of dives you can do. From the 5 dives included in the course, "Deep diving" and "Navigation" are compulsory. The additional 3 dives may be selected by the student.

Emergency First Responder (EFR) - A 1 day basic first course including Primary and Secondary care Rescue diver - In 3-4 days you will learn the necessary skills required to be able to help yourself and / or others in a diving emergency. This course is certainly one of the most rewarding, challenging, and we believe, one of the most important.

Dive Master Trainee (DMT) - the first professional level. Within 4-6 weeks you learn advanced diving techniques. Your theoretical knowledge regarding the physics, physiology and safety of diving is increased. The objective to become a Dive Master is learning how to supervise dive groups under water and how to become a "responsible dive leader". Your training will include demonstrating skills, assisting instructors, planning & leading dives, briefing divers, maintaining dive equipment, working in a team on a dive boat and more. Not only is this a rewarding course, but it increases your skills thus, your safety. It also offers opportunity for employment. Not a bad way to experience diving in different parts of the world!

Discover SCUBA Diving (DSD) - This is simply an "introduction" to diving. If you are not sure if diving is the right sport for you then you should try it one day under the supervision of a dive instructor. In shallow water you can experience the beauty, the peace, the corals and the colorful fish of the underwater world. But be careful, diving is addictive!

Specialties - In 1-2 days you can further increase your knowledge on a specific type of dive. There is a selection of "specialty dives" to choose from such as; night, deep, navigation, photography, diver propulsion vehicle (DPV), enriched air nitrox (EAN), peak performance buoyancy (PPB), search & recovery etc.

All our dive courses are held by qualified, experienced and patient multilingual dive instructors. Dive courses are conducted according to the international standards of PADI, SSI or CMAS. To minimize anxiety, we limit all courses to a maximum of 4 students' p/class. Furthermore, we are mindful that people learn at different rates so we aim to adapt the course to suit individual needs.
