Chumporn Pinnacle
Chumpon Pinnacle is located about 10 kilometers northwest from Koh Tao. The visibility is between 12 and 30 meters. The average diving depth is about 20 meters, the maximum depth is over 40 meters. It is probably Koh Tao`s best dive site and consists of four underwater rock formations, which begin in a depth of 16 meters. The rocks are covered with innumerable anemones and between them you can see
shrimps, crabs and clown fish. This dive site is ideal to watch big fish. At the northern end you can meet estuar groupers with up to two meters size, in addition barracuda schools are frequent visitors. At the southern part of the dive site silver tip sharks as well as grey reef sharks are to be seen. In Koh Tao is nearly the whole year over whale shark time, they can grow up to eight meters. The whale sharks are usually in company of cobias, which close to the rocks hunting small fish. If you are diving with much luck you can find mantas and big tuna in the deeper water. In addition you can see big schools of bat fish, banner fish and redbelly yellowtail fusilier as well as jenkins whipray.

Aow Leuk
The dive site Aow Leuk is on the southeast side of Koh Tao. The visibility is on 8-10 meters. The average depth is approx. 8 meters, the maximum depth is approx. 18 meters. Aow Leuk is a well dive site for courses and intro dives. The north is characterized by large sand surfaces by a beach. Here you find conditions like in a swimming pool. The south offers a beautiful dive site for divers and snorkellers, who like to enjoy corals and coral fish. Here you can watch fish like
coral groupers, crocodile longtom, barracudas, six-banded angelfish, saddleback anemonefish, box fish, black blotched porcupinefish, napoleonfish, nudibranchs, ... If you dive at the reef edge along shark island you find beaked coralfish, blue spotted stingrays and trigger fish.

Hin Wong Pinnacle
Hin Wong Pinnacle is one of the deeper dive sites of Koh Tao. The rock formation is about 100 meters far away from Wong Bay, on the northeast side of Koh Tao. This dive site offers good possibilities for a drift dive. The visibility varies depending on the current between 8 and 30 meters. The average depth is about 15 meters, the maximum depth is about 30 meters. In addition, the rock plateau is covered with
soft corals and colourful anemones also with hydrozas and fire corals. Here you find redbreasted maori wrasse, rabbit fish, cleaner fish, saddleback anemonefish and banner fish. On the east side the fauna changes over to sandy ground, which drops slowly to the maximum depth. Hin Wong is not only the home of coral groupers, fusiliers and snappers. You can see also buffalo head parrot fish and turtles. Off the rock you meet sometimes cowtail stingrays, white tip reef sharks and giant travellys.

Green Rock
Green Rock is a large underwater rock formation at the northern end of Koh Nang Yuan. The visibility is between 10 and 30 meters, sometimes even more. The average dive depth is about 16 meters, the maximum depth is over 30 meters. In the north, about 50 meters away from the rock, is the "
trigger fish city". This is one of the best places to learn more about this species. In the breeding time we have here over 20 yellow-margin trigger fish and some titan trigger fish with their eggs. If you head 330 degrees away, after a few minutes a rock formation is reached. Here you find jenkins whipray, honeycomb moray, cobias and great  barracudas. In addition white tip reef sharks and eagle rays can be seen often here. At the Green Rock you have the possibility to dive through very interesting caves. Here you can find a lot of different nudibranchs, yellow edged morays, harlequin sweetlips, blue spotted stingrays and banner fish. Green Rock is a very interesting dive site for photo-inspired divers.


Reefshark

Japanese Garden
The Japanese Garden is located at the east coast of Koh Nang Yuan, below the Big Rock. The bay is very protected and there are the same conditions as at Twin Peaks. The dive site is ideal for all dive courses and night dives. The average depth is about 6 meters, the maximum deep is 16 meters. Japanese Garden is characterized by large, sandy surfaces, which are interspersed with big coral formations. Here you meet
bat fish, squirrelfish, parrot fish, white-eyed morays, anemonefish and even the shy buffalo head parrot fish. If you dive to south you come to the actual Japanese Garden, which is characterized by blue hydro corals. It drags on nearly into the next bay. Here one sees often schools of yellowtail barracudas, trevallys, yellow-margin trigger fish and even sea snakes, as well as jenkins whipray.

Laem Thian
Laem Thian is also at the east coast of Koh Tao. This dive site consists of two dive sites, at the northern you see very beautiful rock formations and numerous caves. The southern area consists of expanded soft corals and hard corals. The average depth is at the northern dive site 12 meters and at the southern one 10 meters. The visibility the whole year is on 8-12 meters. At the northern dive site there are four caves, which distributed among the whole bay. The caves will be found in a depth of 5 to 15 meters. This is a dive site where the rare
bluebanded surgeonfish is to admire. In addition are here coral groupers, titan triggerfish, blue spotted stingrays, white-eyed morays and six-banded angelfish. Before sunrise and sunset you can observe white tip reef sharks while hunting.

Lighthouse
This dive site is on northeast coast of Koh Tao. There stand the only lighthouse of the island, which the dive site gave its name. The average depth is 14 meters, the maximum depth amounts to 20 meters. The visibility is between 5 and 18 meters. The bay is characterized by sandy surfaces, with big coral formations. Here you find
staghorn corals, tube sponges as well as soft corals and hard corals. Between them you see angelfish, singular bannerfish, butterflyfish and morays. If you dive at the reef edge along to the east you can see a cleft, which represents the entrance to an underwater valley. Here you find the most beautiful anemones and soft corals with all its colourful reef fish. In the deeper water you see barracudas, trevallys, estuar groupers and under the rock columns sometimes a lobster.

Twin Peaks
This dive site is about 100 meters  away from the west side of Koh Nang Yuan. The visibility is between 5 and 20 meters. This dive site is a very nice place so you should see this place at least once. The average depth is 12 meters, the maximum depth is on 20 meters. Twin Peaks consists of 4 underwater rock formations, which are richly covered with
soft corals and hard corals, anemones and tube sponges. Here you see fish such as dragonets, morays, and clown fish. Between the rock formations you can find estuar groupers, sweetlips, bannerfish, six-banded angelfish, blue spotted stingrays and puffer fish, as well as nudibranchs. What makes this dive site so attractive is the possibility to see big barracudas and dogtooth tuna while hunting. Twin Peaks is also extremely interesting for night dives.

White Rock
The visibility here is all year between 12 to 15 meters. In October it´s possible up to 30 meters. The average depth is 12 meters, while the maximum depth is over 25 meters. A very beautiful dive site also for diving courses. It consists of two rock formations, whereby the southern one begins with eight meters and drops then steeply down to over 25 meters. On 10 meters depth you find a beautiful coral garden with table corals, whip corals and soft corals, as well as anemones. Here you can find
harlequin sweetlips, pinktail triggerfish, blue spotted stingrays, clown fish, six-banded angelfish, bannerfish, barracudas and trevallys and sometimes turtles. Night dives at this dive site are a delightful experience. One of the high lights here is that barracudas can be observed while hunting. Besides this dipping place is an ideal place for photo-inspired divers.
